Adan cutting siding
Greetings on Saturday, July 18. I stopped by the site about 10:30am and the downpour had stopped, scaffolding had been set up on both sides of the house and siding was well underway. See pictures of Jim and Adan working with others on either side of the house.
Painting was 100% completed on Friday thanks to John and Mark and others who assisted our professionals (volunteers.) We know that knicks and bumps will happen before the house is done so touch up will be done at the end, but otherwise it looked really good. I did not see luan going down this morning, but I guess that may begin before the end of the day. If not today, then Thursday for sure. I met volunteer Lisa who was pretty lonely cleaning down in the basement this morning all by herself but it was a REALLY BIG MESS so thanks for taking on the job!
I’ll stop by tomorrow after church and snap a few more pictures to show progress at the end of the day. I’ll post another update early next week reporting on the weekend’s progress and listing priority work for the coming weekend.
Thanks everyone. I’m having a blast with my first blogging experience. This is just too much fun!
Lynne
